Now that Malik Zaire is undoubtedly the Fighting Irish’s starting quarterback, he can expect some darts fired in his direction.

He probably didn’t expect that to happen — accidentally — at a Notre Dame football camp. Luckily for us, Notre Dame athletics caught this young kids errant toss on camera.

Ricochet off the screen and off Zaire’s head … bet he couldn’t do it again if he tried.

It also should be noted: Zaire has cat-like reflexes to avoid a serious shot to the face.
