"Yeah, I saw it," Fleury said. "It was right in the middle of my chest."
He wound up saving 36 of 39 shots, including all three of Vancouver's shootout attempts, in Pittsburgh's 4-3 win, so it was easy for him to joke about the play afterward.
"I said a couple bad words to start, and just relaxed a lot. Kind of laughed at myself a bit," Fleury said.
"It's a lot more fun to laugh at now that we have won."
Fleury is now 7-0-0 with a .930 save percentage and 1.84 goals-against average. His 36 saves on Saturday were the most he's made since a 2-1 win over the Phoenix Coyotes on March 5, 2012, and his 13 goals-allowed total is his best such mark through seven games since allowing 14 as a rookie in 2003-04.
